The project has for purpose the employment in Romania of certain modern and efficient technologies of recovery of valuable raw materials, from the class of dangerous chemical waste products, having a destructive impact on the environment, and being a result of the utilisation of technological cooling fluids.
The Technological cooling fluids have a great employment both in the transport industry (over 7x10 3t) and in the energetic one. According to a recent research on the Romanian market, the annual need of technological cooling fluids exceeds the figure of 17 x 10 3 tons, products that are mostly made up of raw materials. Over 30x10 3 t/year of waste products that can be classified as dangerous chemical waste products, coming only from the industrial fluids with a cooling, lubricating and oxidation resisting role, seriously unbalance both the structure and so the biotop of surface water and also the phreatic network of small and medium depth. Only this minimum information about the considerable quantities of chemical polluants from the technological cooling fluids which come yearly in contact with the structures of the environment, show in our country also (in Romania the European legislation concerning the waste products is fully adopted) the acute need to be put to practice as soon as possible technologies that are capable to cope with the development of certain industries extremely aggressive upon the environment.
The technologies proposed by this project are imperative for the immediate future of Romania’s industrial development.
The subject launched into analysis, that of the employement in Romania of certain environment technologies designed for the observation, prevention, improvement, accommodation and restoration of the natural environment elements and also for the important reduction of dangerous chemicals discharge (the recovery is immediately reutilised and processed as valuable raw materials), will strongly prove that this kind of technologies, once put to practice, will assure the industrial security in their field of applicability.
