Detailed description

Project Summary

The object of project is the elaboration of phonon-absorbent structures, with high efficiency, in the sight to decrease the noise pollution, for the equipments established by the directive 14 / 2000 CE. The directive 14 /2000 CE, assumes the harmonization of the UE legislation, regarding to the noise emissions from the environment, emissions made by equipments used outside of buildings and also the directive assigns the noise limits which have to be respected by more than 50 equipments used in open areas. The project, recommends new solutions to improve the phonon-absorbent structures used for turbo engines equipped power groups skids, for phonon-absorbent panels lengthways roads, railroads etc.

Project’s Objectives

1. The internal development of material basis for strong (sound) research to insure both the theoretical and the material the endowments and high level techniques equipments necessary to enlarge in the acoustic area and high technologies from the specific area

2. The coherent development of the research basis of wich disposes the partners from the organized consortium

3. The decrees of the bad impact generated by the economic activities against the environment

Project’s stages

Stage I - The formulation of a new acoustic methodologies using advanced mathematics wich simulate the sound propagation in free/closed spaces

Stage II - The establishment of new solutions for both phono-absorbent materials and structures technologie

Stage III - The design of experimental models for phono-absorbent structures based on the new outlook regarding noise protection

Stage IV - The realization of experimental models of phono-absorbent structures fated of the noise protection and their experimentation

Stage V - The presentation, the promotion and the dissemination for results

Stage VI - The technical and economical evaluation of output research, technological transfer to economic environment

Stage VII - The homologation of the research results of the new materials and technologies made for the phono-absorbent structures. The results capitalization ( by economical enterprises)
