Estimated results
The estimated impacted during the project can be divided in two well defined categories that can be followed even in the initial phase.
The project's impact at economic-social level can be transposed in the following:
♦ adding value to the end product - the results of the papers for the current project will allow the projection of a interior design that will allow the customers of IAR to be satisfied through the desired acoustic comfort;
♦ boosting the competition between the Romanian products on the local market - IAR can offer a better helicopters that are phonically isolated in comparison with other producers. The scientific research of the performance will bring a competitive advantage and will allow the expansion of the orders' portfolio;
♦ creation of new working places - by increasing the portfolio of orders for the systems that reduce the acoustic level, the positive impact over the horizontal industry by creating new working places;
♦ attracting young researchers , students with technical profile - the project will build the appropriate environment for the students that are studying for their bachelor or masters diploma at the Aerospace Faculty from Politehnica University of Bucharest, to practice at IAR SA Brasov and will increase significantly the change for them to become their employees;
and the technical impact:
♦ increasing the research capital of the universities and for the research institutes and adding value to the results of the research that belong to the Romania's economy;
♦ the research results will bring growth of the scientific and technological degree and the reduction of the discrepancy between the Romanian scientific environment and the European one;
♦ additionally this will conduct to the growth of the performance indicators of academics, it will bring closer the research of the industrial reality and will enable the implementation of the knowledge in the teaching process;
♦ improvement of materials used in the university laboratories by transferring the knowledge and products gathered during the project.
